Lovely words and Amur Leopards are my favorite big cat! Their are between 30-40 individuals left in the wild and as you quite rightly point out they are very nearly extinct!

If you would like to go here: www.whf.org.uk they are a charity that are a big cat sanctury in Kent, UK, near where i live (l also volunteer there). They have Amur Leopards here and many other species of big cat as well, where they are part of the endangered species breeding program.

Maybe someday they will be able to put these magnificent animals back into the wild...we can only hope!? :)
